INFORMATION FOR YOUR UPCOMING ZORB WARS SESSION
ZORB WARS & BUBBLE FOOTBALL IS AN EXTREME SPORT. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS, OR HAVE A PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITION THAT MAY BE AFFECTED BY PARTICIPATING IN A HIGH IMPACT ACTIVITY, YOU SHOULD NOT PLAY.
INJURIES ARE RARE, BUT THEY CAN HAPPEN. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. PLAYERS PARTICIPATE AT THEIR OWN RISK.
Parking is available all around the facility. Zorb Wars do not own/operate the parking. Napier Parking (the operator) will charge roughly £1 per hour. A free car park is available at the junction of Overgate & Silbury Blvd. This car park is a 5 minute walk away from the venue.
Players are encouraged to wear any comfortable trainers. Trainers should be tied tightly.
Football boots with studs or blades can not be worn. Flip-flops are also deemed to be unsafe.
You should wear anything comfortable that allows free movement. Please refrain from wearing any clothing with sharp zips etc.
It gets extremely hot within the zorbs, so jeans & jackets are not recommended. Shorts & t-shirt are ideal, however you may wish to wear jogging bottoms as knees will make contact with the rubbercrumb based astroturf.
Your referee will explain how to get in/out of the zorbs. If you have any uncertainty, please remain in/out of the zorb and request assistance.
When you are knocked over you should try to keep your legs tucked in wherever possible. Please don't hit others near a fence. Do not hit anyone facing away from you.
Do not hit anyone that isn't secured inside a zorb, and do not come out of your zorb in the middle of a game.
Listen out for the referees whistle at all times!
An adult should be present (either as part of the session, or as a spectator) if there are players under the age of 16. Adults & Children may participate in the same session, but the adults have a responsibility to ensure that they do not use excessive force.
If you are the event organiser, please forward a link to this page to all participants. If you need to cancel/reschedule your session, please call 0333 733 1345 asap.
You will be asked to sign an accident waiver form to start the session. Players under 18 will require a signature from an adult. You can sign your waiver at the start of the session, or in advance by downloading the document using the link below. Please print & bring this form with you on the day.
THAT'S THE SERIOUS STUFF OUT OF THE WAY - NOW HAVE A GREAT SESSION!
