Zorb Wars

Read this before you come

It's contact.
That's the point.

The zorb takes the impact, not you. But your legs are exposed and it is still a full contact game, so a few rules are not negotiable. Our referees enforce all of them.

Before you play

  • Tell a member of staff about any medical condition, recent injury or concern before you play.
  • Every player, or a parent or guardian for under 18s, completes a Safety Brief Confirmation before the session starts.
  • No session begins until every player has signed.

In the zorb

  • Straps over both shoulders and pulled tight before you move.
  • Glasses come off. Contact lenses are fine.
  • Do not sit, kneel or lie down inside the zorb during play unless a referee tells you to.
  • Hands stay on the internal handles.

Never

  • Head to head collisions
  • Charging at a player who is on the ground
  • Bouncing on or tackling a grounded player
  • Studded or bladed footwear, which tears the zorbs

Our referees stop play the moment any of this is ignored. The rules are short because they are the ones that matter.

The paperwork

Everyone taking part signs a short Safety Brief Confirmation. For under 18s, a parent or guardian signs for them.

A

Lead booker signs

You take responsibility for everyone in your group. Quickest option for a birthday party.

B

Sign on the day

Everyone signs at the gate before the brief. Arrive ten minutes early if you go this way.

C

Bring it filled in

Ask us for the form, print it and hand it over on arrival. Schools and large groups usually prefer this.

No session starts until every player has signed. Insurance documents and risk assessments are available on request: email info@zorbwars.co.uk.
